About Jamal

Background & approach

Dr. Jamal Früster is a Doctor of Chiropractic, speaker, and consultant whose work combines natural philosophy, neuroscience, and human performance. He founded Alma Sana Chiropractic Studio in Tucson, Arizona. The name means “healthy soul” in Spanish, and the practice is trauma-informed and focused on the nervous system. It serves healthcare professionals, educators, frontline workers, parents, and small business owners.

He was still in chiropractic school during the 2020 pandemic when he noticed how rarely nurses and physicians get chiropractic care. That set his mission: bringing nervous system regulation to the people who care for others. He created Providing for the Provider (PFP), a research-informed framework that helps exhausted providers lead from wholeness.

Dr. Früster has delivered it internationally more than 25 times, in English and Spanish. Since 2018, he has taught movement, breathwork, and meditation to over 1,000 healthcare professionals. He also hosts The Provider’s Table podcast, has led more than 22 Kairos Training Culture seminars, and runs men’s retreats for healthcare professionals. The most recent retreat had 92 participants.

His approach draws on polyvagal theory, trauma-informed care, and epigenetics. He plans to grow Alma Sana into an integrative health sanctuary where providers and patients thrive together.
